This non-kill animal shelter is dedicated to finding loving families for homeless dogs and cats. In April 2003 CARA began rescuing homeless animals from across N.C. and have since placed thousands of furry friends in happy homes throughout the country.
This is Dixie – she was adopted by Sanford Antique Mall owner Jenks Youngblood. And yes, she’s as sweet and goofy as she looks. Please consider adopting or donating today.
